Welcome to Three-Minute Portugal! This blog's content will be revolving around Portugal and its current history in participating on the Eurovision Song Contest. Going into a bit of background on on the country's participation, they first appeared on the show in 1964. Portugal has been competing consistently since then and have only missed 5 competitions. In the most recent song contest in 2017, a man named Salvador Sobral represented Portugal and gave the country their first win. Only having learned what Eurovision is quite recently, I'm still unfamiliar with many of the aspects to the contest and don't have much knowledge on Portugal however, I'm eager in learning more during this study.
